Responsibility

Our Purpose

More Than Adornment
UNTAMD is a contemporary jewellery brand with a clear purpose: to create pieces that go beyond adornment. We believe jewellery should not only be aesthetically striking but also serve as a personal declaration — a reflection of identity, intention, and self-expression.

Built on Intention
Each piece is thoughtfully crafted using responsibly sourced materials, including recycled silver and gold. Inspired by organic forms and the raw beauty of nature, UNTAMD balances bold design with intentional craftsmanship to deliver pieces that are both meaningful and enduring.

Shared Purpose Across the Brand
Our purpose is not just a message — it’s our compass. It is shared across all internal and external stakeholders, featured in employee onboarding, creative briefs, marketing, and every collaboration with designers and artisans.

Sustainability & the SDGs

Our Sustainability Framework
UNTAMD is committed to creating a responsible and sustainable jewellery brand. We align our practices with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), ensuring our impact reaches beyond the jewellery itself.

Aligned with the SDGs
We have identified the following SDGs as most relevant to our business:

  • Goal 5: Gender Equality
Empowerment through self-expression. Our brand messaging encourages inclusivity and representation within the luxury industry.
  • Goal 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth
We partner with independent creatives and ethical suppliers, supporting fair, creative, and dignified work.
  • Goal 12: Responsible Consumption and Production
We use recycled silver and gold, reduce overproduction, and favour quality over quantity. Sustainable packaging is also a focus.
  • Goal 13: Climate Action
From low-waste design to ethical sourcing, our operations are built around climate-conscious decisions.

Continuous Improvement
We are working to: - Increase use of recycled materials by the end of 2026 - Transition to 100% recyclable packaging - Formalise our supplier Code of Conduct - Publish an annual sustainability report starting in 2026

Led by Leadership
Our Brand Development Director and Founder lead this sustainability alignment.
